INDUCTIONS

OSM offers Induction courses such as: 

• General Safety Induction - Construction Industry
• Company-specific Inductions designed in conjunction with you

Queensland workers will no longer need to undertake additional construction induction training if they undertake construction work in New South Wales or Victoria. Workers from New South Wales or Victoria will no longer need to undertake additional general construction induction training to work in Queensland if they hold a current:

induction card issued under the Foundation for Safety Construction Industry Induction Training Agreement (Victoria); or
WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate for the Construction Industry issued in New South Wales.

The proposed national course for safety induction, Work safely in the construction industry, comprises the:
National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2006); and
General Construction Training Package CPCOHS1001A.
